Thoughts for Betty

Barbara Cole says her mom, Betty Hemphill, had a massive stroke on June 15th. She is at West Valley Hospital on 135th Ave & McDowell; however, the family requests no visitors at this time and unplugged the phone in her room. Right now Betty can only see shadows, and she can not hear very well and has a very hard time speaking. She knows what she is trying to say but the words just don't come out very well, and her right side is totally dead. For the most part she can understand what is being said to her but there are times she gets confused. Some time in the next several days she will be moved to La Loma Rehabilitation facility at Camelback Road and Litchfield. This is the same facility she was in when she broke her ankle.

By the Numbers...

Some humor before we end the year - Remember, ICC is FUN!

111,111,111 X 111,111,111 = 12,345,678,987,654,321

If you were to spell out numbers, how far would you have to go until you would find the letter "A"? (Answer - One thousand)

You know you are living in 2011 when you accidently enter your PIN on the microwave!

See you on May 14th!
